Alternate Uses!

*Appropriate for use in delicate intimate areas (eg. pre-birth perineal massage, and post-birth tear healing once skin has no openings). Fairies suggest spot treating on a less sensitive area before using in more sensitive areas to make sure you're not allergic!

KEY INGREDIENTS

Sea Buckthorn Oil A sunset hued, sweet smelling wonder oil extracted from the berries and fruit of the sea buckthorn plant. Vitamin E and C can reduce hyper pigmentation, high levels of omega fatty acids (3, 6, & 9) may help to reduce inflammation and hydrate the skin, and an array of other powerful antioxidants and minerals (vitamins B1, B2, K, A, Folic Acid) may plump skin and slow skin degradation.

Wheatgerm Oil A nutritious oil derived from the wheat kernel. Used externally, high levels of vitamin E and linoleic acid calm oxidative stress, giving wheatgerm oil the capability of speeding wound healing, repairing scar tissue to minimize their appearance, and also helping prevent/smooth wrinkles.

Castor Oil Centuries old skin liniment for healing and detoxing the body. Ricinoleic acid, the most abundant fatty acid, contributes to its benefits as a moisturizer, wound healer, antibacterial (prevent/heal acne breakouts, infection, etc), and antioxidant (combating oxidative stressors to diminish wrinkle formation). Linoleic and oleic acids add a boost by aiding skin barrier repair to soothe and heal burns and chapped lips!

Kokum Butter An extremely stable, scentless butter derived from the seeds of the kokum tree. Omega-3 & omega-6 fatty acids help protect/repair the skin barrier, palmitic acid (in conjunction with other components) has been shown to help prevent water loss to ease eczema symptoms, and it is overall an ideal butter for protecting and sensitive skin.

A FAIRY USEFUL TIP To help to make your jar of salve stretch, add a small amount of oil or clean-ingredient cream to the mix. (Olive or coconut oil make great choices.)
